She trained in Clinical Oncology in South Wales, and took up a consultant post in 2004. She specialises in lymphoma and paediatric radiotherapy, and is a member of the NCRI Lymphoma Clinical Studies Group. Velindre CTU is responsible for running over 240 clinical trials at the Cancer Centre. 2009/10 has seen the recruitment of 848 patients into clinical trials, a rate that exceeds national standards. In line with the VCC Research Strategy, CTU will start to recruit to Phase I trials later this year. The generous support of CRW allows us to offer patients the chance of participating in high quality studies led by local investigators.
